Just back from swimming

Just got back after a lovely swim. The pool was quiet and I counted only another 4 people there doing laps. The pool is split in half, with half divided into lanes and the rest open. I usually take one of the lanes but couldn't be bothered this morning so just swam in the open half. Only problem showering afterwards is I can't strip off as the showers are along the side of the pool.



I had my abs waxed last night. Its only the second time I've had them done as I always used to just shave them. But I think my skin feels much smoother after the wax. Kim's friend is a beautician and she did them at home for me.



I see that the funniest joke at this year's Edinburgh Fringe was "I needed a password eight characters long so I picked Snow White and the Seven Dwarves."

Great weekend away

Kim & I went away for the weekend to stay with one of Kim's friends from University. This friend is into walking and we spent all day Sunday walking over hills, through fields, and along paths until we stopped for lunch in a really quaint country pub. We had a great time.
